Linda Bradbury began in the stamping industry in 1995 along with her sister Linel Mehus.  Together they conceived, started and operated for seven years a very successful Rubber Stamp Art store called “The Avenue,” in White Bear Lake, MN.

Along with designing, teaching and instructing a new class each week and displaying over 100 new and original samples per month, they also designed, published and sold in the United States and overseas four Rubber Stamp Art Ideas books.  Linda and Linel continue to design and teach on a weekly basis and hold three – four weekend retreats a year.  Linda is known for incorporating unique color and textures into her designs to create balance, interest and harmony.  You can always count on new original folds and unique ideas incorporated into her projects.

As a nationally known instructor/designer Linda enjoys traveling and teaching at stores throughout the country several times a year.  Come and enjoy a fun and relaxing yet instructional time with her and create something new and exciting to share with family and friends!  See you in class!

Linel Mehus has been in the paper crafts industry since 1995.  Along with her twin sister Linda Bradbury, they owned and operated a very successful rubber stamp paper art store in White Bear Lake, Minnesota called “The Avenue” for seven years.  It started in her home and quickly grew to where a store front was needed to satisfy the demand for more classes and a fast growing customer base.  Within one year, the store expanded to twice its original size.

Linel and Linda designed and published four "how to" books which were sold all over the United States and overseas.  The books contained all original designs with a unique, elegant, and whimsical touch.  Linda and Linel have also given demonstrations for different rubber stamp art companies and designed thousands of sample cards over the years.  They have also been a part of CHA and various other conventions demonstrating and teaching classes.

Linel’s designs are artistic, creative, and always original.  Her designs incorporate many layers, paper combinations, textures, beautiful embellishments, and her unique, one of a kind folds.  Linel’s designs range from feminine to whimsical, but always with an artistic touch.  She has also taught Copic classes as a certified Copic instructor.

Ellie Carrel became a customer and dear friend of Linda and Linel 's from the very beginning of THE AVENUE.

Having been a kindergarten teacher, now for over 40 years, Ellie would stop in and show some of her new and original designs to them .  Impressed with her talent and her exceptional ability to teach, Ellie soon became part of the store. Free Make and Takes were a huge part of THE AVENUE.  With anywhere from 200 to 300 participants on any given Saturday, Ellie became the instructor for those events, allowing Linda and Linel time with visitors and customers to their store.

In 2000, Ellie, along with her husband, moved  to Escondido CA. in order to be closer to grandchildren.  Linda and Linel's friendship continued with Ellie and soon Linda was teaching in CA. and enjoying the beautiful sunny days and warm weather several times a year while spending time with a dear friend!  Ellie has partnered with Linda and teaches  classes for her a few times a year at STAMPING DETAILS, Poway CA. when Linda cannot be there.  She  also travels on occasion with Linda  across the country and is an invaluable help in every aspect .  Thank you Ellie for being part of our team!
